The next generation suspension system for your 84-95 2wd Toyota is now available, the Race Series 5” extended lift spindle uniball kit. TOTAL CHAOS began redesigning the lift spindle kit when we were approached by Pro racer Dan Vance in 2005 to develop a kit for his new race truck that would offer a more durable spindle for a faster truck, increase the wheel travel a few inches and could feature a dual 2.5 shock set up for a more tunable ride. The lift spindle was upgraded by taking an     86-95 4wd Toyota 6-lug spindle and then modifying it to provide 3” of lift. The 4wd spindle has a much larger snout than the 5-lug, which increases the wheel bearing diameter and longevity. Another upgraded feature of this kit is the ability to install dual 2.5 shocks and how they mount inline, putting the coil over shock inboard of the bypass. This system will utilize a 10” travel dual rate coil over shock inboard of a 12” travel non-coilover or bypass shock. This setup allows the secondary shock to be positioned as close to the wheel as possible for optimal suspension dampening and control while providing 15”+ of wheel travel. Air bumps must be installed. Upper and lower control arms incorporate 1” uniball’s and are constructed entirely out of 4130 chromoly. They are 5” wider per side than stock. The Race Series kit features a 4130 chromoly strut frame that is designed to strengthen the front frame section and provide maximum ground clearance for harsh bottom out situations. The strut frame in this system has been strengthened and modified over the previous 2wd kit version. The lower arms retain all factory mounting locations. The system has been converted to include heim pivot upper control arms which offer additional adjustability when aligning the vehicle. The upper control arm design allows you to install a 4-tube 2.5 or 3.0 bypass secondary shock. The package also includes TC’s complete King Kong steering system. If you are upgrading from an existing TC system the kit is available less the King Kong steering. Extended chromoly tie-rods, inner and outer chromoly heim joints, and all necessary hardware is included. TC supplies a template to aid in locating the tab placement for the heim upper control arms.  Only qualified and experienced fabricator should install this kit. Cutting, grinding and welding are necessary. Upper shock mounts will have to be custom fabricated and should be integrated into the vehicles internal roll cage. Tire size will vary depending on individual applications and steering column and brake master cylinder modifications are required. The brake master cylinder will have to be relocated. The Race Series kit has been a proven winner. The 92300 package includes all mounting hardware, heim joints,  nylatron lower control arm bushings, brake lines, strut frame,  King Kong steering, uniball’s and hi-misalignment spacers.
