Many of our favorite aftermarket Samurai rear bumpers omit license plate mounts.  The factory license plate location is low to the ground and exposed. If your Samurai sees both on and off-road use, you may want to consider raising that plate out of the way.  Low Range Off-Road’s body mounted license plate holder allows you install a plate on any flat surface.  Many choose to install a license plate on a Samurai tailgate or custom bumper. Your license plate will be easy to see with the included white LED light.

Can also be used on other vehicles with flat tailgates.
