Description
The MetalCloak JK Overland™ Touring Lift System is designed to get your Jeep ready for on and off-road touring on a budget by maximizing the potential strengths of the factory parts and upgrading at critical areas to maximize performance at a minimum price.
Features Include:
- True Dual Rate Coils
- Stock control arm drop brackets
- Shock extensions
- Extended brake lines
- Front and rear adjustable bump stops
- Extended sway bar end links
True Dual Rate coils are at the heart of this suspension and provide additional lift for clearance and superior stability that is still compliant over the rough stuff. True Dual Rate™ Coils provides the most comfortable and stable ride over traditional single rate lift springs and provide better load handling than the typical “progressive/multi-rate” coils. Our True Dual Rate coils are extra-long in free-length to maintain contact for extreme articulation. MetalCloak has over a decade of proven dual-rate coil performance.
MetalCloak Thermoset Elastomer Coil Isolator upgrade pads are designed to last and outperform factory parts. The pads are made specifically for MetalCloak True Dual Rate Coils and are model specific.
The Stock Control Arm bracket corrects the angle of the control arms while realigning the the pinion angle on the axle; the fully welded design is the strongest drop bracket available and mounts into the factory location for ease of installation.
Adjustable height front and rear bump stops are a MetalCloak first and allow you to adjust the travel to be tailored to the size of tire you have optioned for. Add more bump stop or remove to adjust to the clearance you need without having to remove the coils.
Shock extensions are a simple and effective way to re-use factory components until you are ready to replace with longer shocks.
MetalCloak patented components have been proven safe with the FMVSS certificate of safety; test done while configured with 37inch tires, full body armor and suspension lift.
Note: All 2012+ JK Wrangler will require exhaust spacers (7078) for clearance for the front drive shaft.
