Samurai Power Steering Gear Box Conversion Brackets

A long day on the trail is much easier to handle when your Samurai is equipped with power steering.

The power steering gear box from a 1989-1998 Sidekick or Tracker makes an excellent donor for Samurai power steering conversions.  They are easy to mount in place of the factory manual steering box with the help of a conversion bracket.

Two bracket styles are available to make this conversion possible. Flat brackets, the economical option, require some modification to the radiator core support and should be used with rag joint eliminators to compensate for steering shaft misalignment.

Wedge bracket are built with the correct mounting angle to align the power steering box and steering Samurai steering shaft.  These brackets can be used with factory rag joints and do not require any additional modification. Low Range Off-Road’s wedge steering box brackets are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and include zinc-plated hardware.

Choose between Left and Right Hand Drive.
