A small device that promises instant performance increases for only a few bucks?  You’ve heard it before and we don’t blame you for being skeptical. But this isn’t a trick. The Hitachi carburetors delivered with early Samurais have a design flaw that was identified too late for production.  This issue is described by Suzuki as a hesitation/flat spot, in any gear, when in acceleration from partial to open throttle. You may notice that your Samurai hesitates for a moment before continuing to rev up.  That hesitation is caused by vacuum in the fuel bowl.  

Installing a venturi tube in your carburetor removes this flat spot in the carburetor.  This venturi tube catches some of the air coming into the engine and forces it into the bowl.  This 5 minute upgrade will immediately result in better throttle response.
